• 1 packet of dried Greek currants
• 4 socks of garlic = 12 bulbs
  
• bowel of red onions from Ridley Road market, helping to cut a pigeon free from entangled netting in the process
  
• 1 packet of urfa chilli flakes
• 1 red cabbage
• 1 packet of Californian walnuts
• 3 x 100g bars of dark chocolate - different brands for testing
• 1 bottle of Noble Cheery liqueur, just in case
  
• no fireworks for the pikey kids outside Lidls no matter how unkindly they ask me
• 1 bottle of Irish Meadows, Baileys rip-off, most likely for personal consumption
• 1 small bottle of Napoleon brandy, for any eventuality
